Our curriculum is designed to develop fundamental acting skills. Through engaging exercises, improvisation, and character studies, participants not only build confidence as a performer but also cultivate life skills such as communication, teamwork, and problem-solving.
Sing
Our musical theatre singing sessions help young performers develop strong vocal technique, stage presence and storytelling skills. From mastering the art of belting to perfecting the nuances of character-driven songs, our participants receive expert guidance.
Dance
Led by experienced instructors passionate about dance, our musical theatre dancing sessions focus on building a strong foundation in various dance styles commonly featured in musical theatre productions.
Our Cast
Take The Stage in End of Semester Production
Each semester culminates in professionally staged live performance. We typically produce two shows annually, with young people involved on stage, in the orchestra or band, behind the scenes and across the creative team.
In 2026, our Theatrical Triple Threat participants will take to the stage in Anything Goes, a high energy Broadway classic. This fast paced musical will challenge performers with bold characters and big dance numbers.
Auditions are now open for semester two 2026

The Theatrical Academy Triple Threat Program is a 20 week, audition based musical theatre intensive for people aged 15 to 22. Designed for aspiring musical theatre performers, the program combines practical training with the experience of rehearsing and presenting a musical theatre production.
PART ONE: BUILD THE SKILLS
Weeks 1 to 9
Students begin with focused training across the three core disciplines of musical theatre:
- Singing – Develop vocal confidence, ensemble skills, solo repertoire and the ability to tell a story through song.
- Dance – Build technique, stamina and performance confidence through key musical theatre dance styles.
- Acting – Explore character, text, scene work, monologues and improvisation in a supportive, practical environment.
Students also take part in performance practice and feedback sessions designed to help them grow in confidence, discipline and versatility.
PART TWO: JOIN THE REHEARSAL ROOM
Weeks 10 to 20
In the second half of the program, students apply their training inside a real musical theatre rehearsal process.
Working with the creative team, students rehearse scenes, songs and choreography, learning how to contribute to an ensemble, take direction, prepare material and understand what is expected inside a musical theatre company.
What Students Gain
By the end of the program, students will have:
• Built practical skills in singing, acting and dance
• Developed stronger audition and rehearsal habits
• Learned how to work as part of an ensemble
• Gained confidence taking direction and performing material
• Experienced the process of rehearsing a musical
• Performed in a fully staged musical theatre outcome
Theatrical Academy is for people who want to learn the skills, discipline and confidence to be part of a musical theatre company, from the audition room to the rehearsal room to the stage.
Why 20 Weeks?
We have designed a 20 week curriculum because meaningful growth happens over time. The extended format gives emerging performers the chance to build skills steadily, develop confidence and experience the rhythm of a real rehearsal and production process.
Across more than 200 hours, participants will train, rehearse, explore material, receive guidance and work towards a full production. That time matters because it allows performers to grow with consistency, form strong creative habits and develop real world rehearsal room skills. Participants learn how to perform, how to approach a role, how to take direction, how to prepare and what is expected of them when they step into a show beyond this course.
